Mark,

Let me start by saying I am not "arguing" with you; I just found this interesting and started doing some research myself and thought I would share.

Because Obama's mother was a "Natural Born Citizen" doesn't mean he is, it only means that he is a "U.S. Citizen;" but what kind of Citizen is he? From what I have found is if he was indeed born in Hawaii he would be considered a "Citizen by Statute". Due to the fact his father was from Kenya Obama would be "Native Born," not "Natural Born" also being considered a "Dual Citizen" of the U.S. and Kenya; therefore he had to make a choice and declare his Citizenship to the US, Kenya, or a combination and according to the U. S. State department, "Dual Citizens" "Owe Allegiance" to both the United States and the foreign country thus not allowing him to be eligible for President becuase he has to follow the laws of both Statutes.

Given there is no clear definition in the U.S. Constitution I did find this:

To be a "Natural Born Citizen" BOTH parents must be U.S. Citizens AND the person born in the U.S. mainland. Ref: US Constitution Art. II, Sec. 1, Cl. 5 U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898) Minor v. Happersett 21 Wall. 162, 166-168

A "Citizen by Statute" is born to at least 1 US Citizen Parent OR Born in the U.S. mainland OR Naturalized. Ref: US Constitution14th Amendment,Sec. 1 U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898)Perkins v. Elg, 307 U.S. 325 (1939)

A "Native-Born Citizen" is born in the U.S. mainland. Ref: US Constitution 14th Amendment, Sec. 1 U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898) Perkins v. Elg, 307 U.S. 325 (1939)

My opionion is this should have been determined before the election! Since it was not and there is no definitive definition for "Natural Born Citizen" in the Consitution the Conspiracy Theorist need to make an effort to define the meaning in the Constitution and let Obama focus on more serious issues. I don't like it they are arguing about this instead of focusing on more serious issues the U.S. has to deal with. Donald Trump needs to tell me what he can do to fix the budget, Health Care, Social Security or lower fuel prices instead of trying to prove Obama isn't eligible to be President; he is already President move on!

I beleive if you were born in the U.S. OR you can pass the stringent background investigation and meet the other Constitutional requirements you should be eligible to run for President.

I am not in anyway claiming to be or not to be a Democrat or have or have not voted for Obama, I just beleive it is ridiculous to spend so much energy on something so trivial!

The number of visitors, the local impact on the economy, the vibrant history of aviation...Dayton was a major contender. Boeing had inked a check to help facilitate the move....everyone thought that this was a lay up....while this is another hit to the Dayton region, I'm still sincerely thankful to everyone who worked so hard for trying to make this project happen.

Tomorrow is another day and as I pull on my boot straps, I'll look for the next project to give momentum to.

Good night from the city that refuses to die.

Did you notice (a) how much power these guys can get from just a flick of the wrist, (b) the way the entire volley alternates between deep lobs and weak little "dink" shots, with nothing hittable at mid-court, and (c) the way they stopped to gasp for air after the third volley?

As Jack Kemp used to say, when you subsidize something, you get it. The same reasoning applies not only to payments to those who do not work, but to payments to single mothers as well.
